I'm trying to setup fldigi. Its transmitting and receiving. However, I can't get the "levels" adjusted correctly. I'm using Windows 11, the latest version of fldigi (as of Jan 12, 2022) and of course the latest version of Hamsphere 4.
I have my mic gain turned down to a hair above the first notch so just breaks the VOX. Power setting is at 5 watts. My ALC peak reading is now between the 5 and 13.8. Before I turned the compressor off the needle was pegged. So were headed in the right direction. I have the codec set to OFF.
And the most annoying thing is a bell keeps ringing when i'm in receive mode. I get this symbol on the readout that says
. I have no idea what is triggering that.
Please, I want to get this corrected as I would like to put my 2 OSR stations on Digi. Any help at all would be great!
