Is it possible to IMPORT the QSL card designed in HS3 to HS4.

If so how?

No, unfortunately there is no way, because HS 3 and 4 have 2 different databases and FTP-Files on the server. That's independent sytems with seperate accounts. Also your logbook is a brandnew one.

But you can choose the same templates from HS 3 and upload to the new server. All you have to do is to remove all this red icons into the template again. That's a little bit effort, but possible.
If yo want to use the same color for icons/text, you can edit one on the HS 3 side (click into color-box), press [STRG/CTRL] + [C] and paste this value into the new template icon (and each other you want with the same color).

I had transferred my old cards in about 3 to 5 minutes per card. .

Yes, of course. ;-) Like any other pictures. You can a) print it out of your Browser (Print Site, [CTRL] + [P] Key), or b) you safe each Card on your Harddisk and use the printing function of a grafiicprogram or directly from the system. That's very easy.

So what if you didn;t save a copy of your QSL card template - here's a little trick I used to avoid having to do one again from scratch.

- Log in to Hamsphere 3.0 and click on "QSL Card Edit"
- Click on the QSL Card thumbnail for the card you want to import into Hamsphere 4.0
- A larger version of the card will appear on the screen with the red markers on it
- Right click on the picture (make sure not to right click a red marker) and click on "Save Image as.."
- Then select somewhere to save the card such as Desktop or My Documents
- You can then simply log in to Hamsphere 4.0, click on "QSL Card Edit" and upload the image you just saved.
- You just need to reposition the red markers now...just a quick 5 minute job ;)

Good tip... and exactly what I wrote above (look at #2) :-)))

Yes, it takes only 3 to 5 minutes to copy and repostition the red marker for each card/template.

If you would write into the correct thread or open a new one for this topic, maybe! ;-)
But this thread is for QSL-Cards only, not for updates or something like that..

The procedure is the same like on 4.002, 03 or 04 and any other versions.
