"ISO" stands for many different things in the world, but I believe you're asking about the "International Organization for Standardization".

In this case it means a country-code for each country. HamSphere as a VoIP application needs IP-adresses for the grids / locations.

I'm not sure about the CW award, but 30 could be correct, yes.

For example your ISO is "US" and my letters are "DE" (for Germany/Deutschland), independent of the national callsign-prefix.
As you can see, it's not so easy to find the correct ISO-Code in all cases. US is more "logical" for United States, but DE is for the german word "Deutschland", not GE for Germany, It's a little bit tricky.

Also the HAM prefixes "DL", "DK", "DA" and so on instead of "GE", or the american "W" or "K". But we have callbooks and qrz.com for that. :-)))

You will find all confusion when you work M0, MI6, GW6, etc.,. unlike in real ham radio.
