Can anyone tell me the location of these virtual antennas. Are they purely virtual and tagged to your QTH?

I'm not really sure if I understand your question correct.
The antennas are virtual, of course. Also the rest of the Hamsphere simulation.

At HS 4 we are talking about a GRID, that means the area of your (real) location, within your QTH. Based on your IP-Adress and Callsign and area, that you stated on your registration.
And there is your simulated antenna, which is looking into the direction of your QSO-friend (if you set the rotator correctly into position and if the antenna is rotatable).
Otherwise it looks omnidirectional around your QTH (like Verticals).

And the simulation works as a real HF Antenna on both sides, Receiver and Transmitter.
