Hi Pat,

in HamSphere 4? Very simple, just open your logbook and create a new entry with the callsign. If it is a current contact, there should be an auto-fill in with the UTC, frequency and date and so on. Click on "Save QSO" and maybe the system will show an error by missing name. Just click "Save" again and the line should be complete.

Default is a report of "59", if you have a report field at your QSL-Card, you should correct this value first, because the other station can see this numbers. It could be "strange" ift you gave them a report of 5/5 and later on he read "5/9" on the card.

Now you have a new line in the logbook and 2 small icons. The little "S" is for sending a QSL-Card to this station. On the next screen you select one of your Card-Templates and "send".
If the ""R" is green, you've got a card form him. If the "S" is red, you did send a card.
That's all. :-)

You can send QSLs only to those HS4 48mb stations and NOT others.

In a "single way" contact, yes, that's correct. With a valid QSO it's possible to all stations and all bands.

As an "only listener" you can send cards (pls don't do it), but you won't get one from the other station and it's not a valid QSO. .
