Does Hamsphere account for my specific location when operating on the platform. This would greatly affect my propagation routes! Thanks for any input!

Yes of course, that is the sense of the realistic simulation. ;-)
It's depending on you Grid-Locator, Geo-coordinates. Otherwise it would be working like Skype or HamSphere 3 and so on. Just "Voice over IP".
