Hi,

this is the 48-meter band and you need a broadcast-account for that, please contact the support.
There are some special antennas and plugins in the HamSphere-Shop for transmitting broadcast.

Good afternoon Sir,

here are some steps:

1. In the shop go to the antenna section and select a 48-meters antenna of your choice (which type you prefer) or a 3-band or something like that:
Click for Antenna-Section
.
But first you can try it with the IDC (standard vertical antenna) as well, the IDC is a multi-bander and belongs to the radio.

2. If you don't have rotatable antennas yet, you'll need an antenna rotator also (from the shop) for antennas like Yagi or Cardioid and so on.
Also you need an antenna-selector, if you don't have one yet.

3. Before you start the transceiver next time, go to the Editor section of the program and place the rotator where ever you want into your rig.
Then restart your radio and select the BC/48-meters band, your new antenna should be selectable now and the rotator will point it into any desired direction. E.g. 090° degrees (east of your position) or whatever you want.

4. After contacting the support you can get a Broadcasting-Account and a special plugin for BC, which (as far as I know) is NOT available in the normal shop. Longer time ago there was a message about that in one of the older newsletters.

That's all I know about that stuff, I'm not working on 48 meters by myself.
Good luck!

PS: I just replied to your PM. :-)
