When I use my Hight Defination Audio soundcard, I can listen any time hamsphere 4 that I like without problems. Every time I change my device from default to USB Headset (plughw:2.0) hamsphere 4 freezes and connection will be lost also. So now I can only listen, because I don't have separate microphone to connect in my soundcard. Error is like this: javax.sound.sampled.LineUnavailableException: line with format PCM_SIGNED 8000.0 Hz, 16 bit, mono, 2 bytes/frame, little-endian not supported.

sorry for late answer . the forum is not much used anymore because every question is now put at HamSphere Technique page at facebook .
change of audio when HamSphere is already running can cause a problem like you have , I had that in past also .
My solution was to change audio outside of HamSphere for example using a mixer software like voicemeeter ( free software at page "VB audio " ) where you make switching in voicemeeter and at hamSphere it is always the default device .
