Cannot enter Freq in Manually using the ENT Key
2014-09-08 05:02
Hi All
I don't know what I'm missing here, but I cannot use the ENT key to type in frequencies manually. Also is there any Parrot freq like on HS3 (01.823.45) for testing the audio?

Hi Rodger,

yes, that's correct, ENT is not working at the moment. I don't now why, maybe later on. You can set fix frequencies by clicking the + symbol in the display. It's always your current freq.

And there is no "Parrot frequency" in HS4, because you also don't have such frequencies on real transmitter. ;-) You can evaluate your modulation by using a oscilloscope, or also when you keep your Mic-Gain in the green area of the "ALC-Scale" on your analog S-Meter.
If it is in the green field AND you don't use too much power for the QSO, your modulation will be OK. :-)
E.g. for a headset it's absolutely enough with the mic-gain between the first and second notch!

73 and good DX from Jörg :-)

I add a sound card,
Use VOX function, RTTY mode
10.150MHZ RTTY BV4VW.
Any person who receives the signal received RTTY
Please report about the sound normal?
I do not know how to switch to see the ALC
To adjust the size of the input sound.
